The Blanket by David Murphy, in partnership with Yorkshire Sculpture Park
We are delighted to announce a newly commissioned sculpture exhibition for Spring 2019. Artist David Murphy will present Blanket - a large scale sculpture, suggestive of a magnified textile weave, a warp and weft of merged lines made from steel. Centrally located in the courtyard it will present a focal point and meeting place for visitors, with further work from the artist on display in the building. Accompanying the exhibition will be a programme of events and activities for all ages.

Whitby and the Cosmos: the Search for Dark Matter
